Notice

I forgot in my earlier post that 'm sick. Yes to the one person that might actually read this, I'm sick with that cold bug that everyone seems to have. I blame my friends for dragging me out to a major snow ball fight. I'm all sniffy and my voice sounds really weird, like I'm a chain smoker or something. LOL. Tired, I'm on Benadryl again, I don't know why, but it makes me feel good so, don't fix ,what ain't broke I say.

PROMO

I just saw the promo ad for Dollhouse created by Joss Whedon and staring Eliza Dushku. The first is the trailer and in one of my magazine, I saw two ads.

Those are the two images. I can't wait till Febuary 13, 2009 at 9:00PM on Fox!!!!! I'm still in Succubus duh' and I'm loving Undone.

Succubus On Top

This is the second book in the succubus series by Richelle Mead. This book deals with the normal stuff for a succubus; sex, drugs, and a male succubus. (incubus) So Georgina's coworker Doug appears to be doing very well, whether it be in the bookstore or in his band. But Georgina soon finds out that this is only because of a drug that seems to be, being handed out by the new member of Nocturnal Admission. Now like almost all drugs this on has side affect, the good affect is you can do what you're good at about tenfold, but the bad is once you're hooked and you run out of it you go into a deep depression.

I loved this book and the fact that we get to meet an incubus named Bastien who has known Georgina since nearly the beginning of her succubus career. Bastien is in Seattle on 'business' and this guy is a peace of work, and really funny when he wants to be but also very rude. And where is Seth? Well he is still Georginas' boyfriend and he kinda has a foot fetish, who knew? Well they are still working on their relationship, and finding ways to 'sex it up' without 'sexin it up.' UMMMM...IDK What else is there to say, god I'm really bad at this stuff. It is again like the first book; fast paced and written very well. and I love the back cover blurb at the top..."Georgina Kincaid's job sucks. Literally" LOL I love that.

Strange Angels

Hey, still in Succubus on Top.

But the real reason I'm on is because of this book that comes out in May. May 14, 2009 in fact, the book is called Strange Angels by Lilith Saintcrow. (One of the Deadline Dames) Here is the cover, which I love...I think the girl kinda looks like Angie Harmon too.

Here is the back blurb:

Dru Anderson has been “strange” for as long as she can remember. She travels from town to town with her father, hunting the things that go bump in the night and eat the unwary. It’s a weird life, but a good one–until it all explodes and a zombie busts into her new house.

Alone, terrified, and trapped in an icy town, Dru’s going to need every inch of her wit and training to stay alive. Can she trust the boy who is just a little too adult–and just happens to get bit by a werwulf? Or the strange blue-eyed boy who tells her she’s heir to a long-forgotten power? Can she even trust her own instincts?

Because Dru is not the first in her family to be killed by the darkness of the Real World. The monsters have decided to hunt back–and now Dru has to figure out who to trust, who to fight, and when to run. And not incidentally, she has to figure out how she’s going to get out of this alive.

And she has to do it in the next 24 hours, or it’s all over…

Sounds good doesn't it? Can't wait for it. And next week on Monday prepare for the Deadline Dames!!!

Bored to the 10th Power!!

It's late, like 4:04 where I'm at. I should be reading, but I'm not. I'm still in the middle of Succubus on Top, I've been reading like 1 chapter a day, mainly because of school. I've been trying videos but I'm not very comfortable with posting me and my house and my voice online...yet. I don't know, I shouldn't even be using the computer or the digital camera but my parents don't know so, aah well.

Um, my friend was over today and she talked my into straighening my hair. Being a guy I never thought I would/should straighten my hair, but I did. And normaly it's really poofy and frizzey, but straightened it is pretty long, longer then I thought it was. In the back it to the bottom of my neck, on the sides it's to the top of my jaw line, and on the front/bangs it's to the end of my nose. I like it, it's sleak and...But it's is way to much work, and I can't even remember every thing she did. She had to like clip and straighten, and unclip and straighten. It was too much work to do every day.

I'm going to end this on a quote from Buffy, Vamp Willow: "Bored Now"

School Started

School has started today, and now I'm swamped...Blah I'm gonna keep this short. I'm still reading Succubus on top.

Re-Reading

In the New Year tons and tons of books are coming out. And most of them belong to a series. I'm happy and sad about this. Happy: new books that will further the adventure of my favorite characters. Sad: I have to get money for all of these fantastic books, and I must re-read the books that come before the new ones. The re-reading thing is good and bad, because you get to "re live" the book, but re-reading also takes time and with school it's kinda hard. First on my list to re-read is Kim Harrison and Patricia Briggs.

@))(-Which translates to 2009

It is the new year and has been so for the last hour and a half. I found a funny new video it is called Gold Pants Lullaby.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddFBX9hwaOM&eurl=http://katyperryblog.tumblr.com/search/video&feature=player_embedded

Go check it out it will make you laugh.

New Years!!!!

It's New Years Eve right now in the U.S.A. and I'm kinda bored. I started the second book in the succubus series, it is called Succubus on Top, I'm not that far into it yet but I am enjoying. ;-) Also starting this year I'm keeping a book journal, so I can remember everything that I read in 2009. And just for giggles I'm gonna put Succubus Blues on that list, so the series can all be together. Like I said I'm bored so now I'm going to go take a shower and then read a few hefty chapters of Succubus on Top.

Succubus Blues

I just finished the book entitled Succubus Blues by Richelle Mead. It was amazing. The story revolves around Miss. Georgina Kincaid a hot, sexy succubus, with friends in high (immortals) and low (mortals) places. Georgina steals the 'life force' from mortal males. By stealing their 'life force' she get "fuel" for lack of a better word. Normally she only has to feed every few weeks, if she keeps the shape-shifting to a minimal.

But now her favorite author Seth moves to her town and starts coming to her bookstore/cafe' to write, she finds herself being drawn to him. But hopes of having a relationship are dead because she would steal his 'life force'. Now that is hardly her only trouble, someone or something is killing immortals. So Georgina and her friends must find out who/what is doing it, even if the higher immortals don't want her too. And while all of this is happening a seemingly sweet, handsome, and kindhearted, man named Roman steps into Georgina's life. Now what is a succubus to do when two mortal males start falling in love with her, and she start falling back? She tries to avoid them, duh. But of course that never works. And with her job, dance lessons, and friends all in which she has commitments too, what is she going to do?

Another 'duh' she acts sexy, witty, and aggressive to get what she wants. This book has none stop mystery and action. It also will make you laugh and cheer for Georgina and most of her friends. Now with a book with Succubus in it name you will encounter sex. There are very few sex scenes in this books but they are rather descriptive, and this is not a children book. Georgina also has flashbacks and it is sometimes hard to tell when thing like this happen, but this does not diminish the story. She will shook you and you will love her for it. If you haven't picked up a copy of this book, then get it now and pick p the next two in the series while you're at it.

I'm Back

OMG where have I been? I've been busy and with the holidays...Well I'm sorry to report that i didn't finish Witchling :-( I just couldn't get into it, but I do still have it on my book case. I did get something however for Christmas, a book, It is called Succubus Blues by Richelle Mead. Now this one I'm loving and I'm reading it slow, to enjoy it more. I've heard great things about this book, and they are all true!
Okay, I've been doing some thinking and...Everyone has heard of the expression 'Don't judge a book by it's cover.' Well some people use this metaphorically, but for real books? Yes, that is what almost everyone does. What gets your attention, the cover of the book. If the cover was not important, then it would be a blank cover with the title written in bland letters. We do this every time we find a book on the shelf, by chance.
What does anyone thing about this? Would love to hear.

Bored

Just wanted to drop in and say that I'm not going to read the Carrie books but instead have started Witchling by Yasmine Galenorn, I wouldn't normally read a book like this but a friend told me to read it, so I will. It seems rather erotic but what ever, if I don't like I won't read the rest in the series. Gotta love America, because it is a free country, well most of the time. (don't get me started on politics ;-).)

Here is the back cover summery

We're the D'Artigo Sisters: Half-human, half-Faerie, we're savvy--and sexy--operatives for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency. But our mixed-blood heritage short-circuits our talents at all the wrong times. My sister Delilah shapeshifts into a tabby cat whenever she's stressed. Menolly's a vampire who's still trying to get the hang of being undead. And me? I'm Camille--a wicked-good witch. Except my magic is as unpredictable as the weather, which my enemies are about to find out the hard way...

Camille:

"At the Wayfarer Inn, a portal to Otherworld and the local hangout for humans and beasties alike, our fellow operative Jocko's been murdered. Every clue points to Shadow Wing, the soul-munching, bad-ass leader of the Subterranean Realms. He's made it clear that he aims to raze humankind to the ground, turning both Earth and Otherworld into his private playground. Our assignment: keep Shadow Wing and his minions from creeping into Earth via the Wayfarer. The demons figure they're in like Flynn. After all, with only my 'bumbling' sisters and me standing in the way, how can they miss? But we've got a secret for them: faulty wiring or not, nobody kicks ass like the D'Artigo girls."

New Tales!

This is a really well written book of short stories and most of them have lessons. And a few are rather funny. I need more, I don't know what to do, I need something but I can't pick a book to read next. Maybe I'll read the Carrie Vaughn books.
